COMEBOARD is a professional Tiamulin Fumarate manufacturers from China.
Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is a semisynthetic derivative of pleuromutilin.Tiamulin is active against gram-positive bacteria, mycoplasmas, and anaerobes, including Brachyspira hyodysenteriae. It is also clinically effective in treatment of swine dysentery and mycoplasmal arthritis.Tiamulin is well absorbed when administered PO.
The dosage is 8.8 mg/kg/day for 3–5 days, in either food or water. The parenteral dosage for mycoplasmal pneumonia in pigs is 15 mg/kg.In poultry, tiamulin interferes with monensin and salinomycin metabolism, and if the drugs are fed together, they become toxic. Generally, however, tiamulin has few adverse effects.
Tiamulin fumarate is a pleuromutilin antibiotic targeting gram-positive bacteria and several Mycoplasma species. It is soluble in aqueous solution.
Pleuromutilin antibiotics target the 50s ribosomal subunit, inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, by binding peptidyl transferase. This blocks formation of peptide bonds.
Antibiotics are often used in clinical in vitro tests known as antimicrobial susceptibility tests or ASTs to determine their efficacy against certain bacterial species. They are tested against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria using panels, discs, and MIC strips by medical microbiologists. ASTs decrease the risk of using an antibiotic against bacteria exhibiting resistance to it, and the results are used in clinical settings to determine which antibiotic(s) to prescribe for various infections.
Tiamulin fumarate is a semi–synthetic analogue of pleuromutilin in which the hydroxyacetyl side chain is replaced with a larger diethylaminoethylthioacetyl moiety, providing greater hydrophobicity. The hemi-fumarate provides a stable salt with improved water solubility. Tiamulin is a potent and highly selective antibiotic active against a range of Gram positive bacteria, with no cross resistance to existing antibiotic classes due to its unique mode of action of inhibiting protein synthesis by binding to domain V of 23S rRNA.

Tiamulin Fumarate Use
How to use Tiamulin Fumarate ?
Adverse reactions may occur when combined with polyether antibiotics such as monensin and salinomycin.
It can be used with antibiotics (such as clindamycin, lincomycin, erythromycin, tylosin, etc.) which can bind the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome, and the effect is reduced due to the competitive sites.
This product is forbidden to be used in combination with polyether antibiotics because it can cause drug poisoning, slow growth of chickens, dyskinesia, paralysis and death. Although pigs are less responsive, they are not suitable for use.
This product is safe for chickens and pigs. It can tolerate 3 to 5 times of oral dose. However, skin redness and other reactions can occur occasionally. Overdose can cause transient salivation, vomiting and central nervous system suppression in pigs, and should be stopped and symptomatic treatment.
Take the medicine period, take the pig for 5 days.
This product is irritating and avoids contact with skin or mucosa.
